GORUCK is the new Official Footwear and Apparel Provider of CrossFit and the CrossFit Games this year. With the new partnership, we have been waiting to see what the athlete uniforms will look like at the 2024 CrossFit Games. Well, that wait is over as GORUCK has given us a glimpse of the uniforms on their website.
GORUCK has a Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr replica jersey for sale on its website. The replica jersey is being sold in two colorways, Ranger Green Camo and Charcoal.
According to the product description, this year’s uniforms “pay homage to our military roots by using a stencil font for all the athletes’ names.” GORUCK adds that this font originally inspired the GORUCK logo and that the different font on this year’s jerseys marks the first time the font has been changed on a Games uniform.
The Tia replica jersey is on sale for $80 while supplies last. As of this publication only a few shirts remained in each size/color (Men’s | Women’s).
The fabric used for the shirts is TOUGHMESHTM, an 85% nylon and 15% elastane blend that was developed in the foothills of the Alps (sounds fancy). It is apparently weighs 30-40% less than other performance fabrics and has off-the-shoulder seams to reduced friction while wearing a ruck.
As for the full array of uniform colors and options, that has not yet been fully revealed. However, with the stencil font and military-inspired colorways on the website, it appears that we will see a lot of dark greens, grays and camo on the competition floor of Dickies Arena.
