What was originally scheduled to be a head-to-head match-up between Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr versus Arielle Loewen for the 24.3 CrossFit Open live announcement has turned into a 4-athlete throwdown. Toomey-Orr announced yesterday that she would not do the Open announcement due to her wrist injury. CrossFit followed up with a change to the athlete line-up.
WHO: Arielle Loewen will be joined Sydney Wells, Jay Crouch and Roman Khrennikov for the 24.3 Open workout following the official announcement…by someone other than Dave Castro. CrossFit has yet to announce who will reveal the final Open workout, but I’m guessing it will be Jocko Willink as the 24.3 live announcement show is sponsored by JOCKO GO.
WHEN: Similar to last week, the live show begins at 2:30pm EST (11:30am PST) on Thursday, March. The Open Workout 24.3 Announcement is 30 minutes later at 3:00pm EST (12:00pm PST).
WHERE: The live announcement will be held CrossFit PRVN in Nashville, Tennessee. It is the new headquarters for the PRVN Fitness training camp in addition to being a CrossFit affiliate.
