How to Watch the NorCal Classic

The final In-Person Qualifying Event of the 2025 CrossFit Games season is upon us. Tomorrow, athletes will look to begin their quest to qualify for the 2025 CrossFit Games at the NorCal Classic…or the Northern California Classic, if you want to be more formal.

The events were released this morning (check them out here). The

The competition schedule is a bit different than most (probably all) IPQEs as the event order between the elite men’s and women’s divisions is different. To complicate matters even more, on Saturday night the elite men and women are on different stages at the same time.

NOTABLE ATHLETES

Colten Mertens will be competing even though he has already qualified for the CrossFit Games (via the Mayhem Classic). He will be joined by Spencer Panchik, Bill Leahy, Max Krieg, Jorge Fernandez, Nate Ackerman and Seth Stovall.

On the women’s side, everyone is probably expecting Alex Gazan to take one of the two qualifying spots. But athletes like Kristin Holte, Hattie Kanyo, Sydney Wells, Carolyne Prevost, Nina Vragovic, Trista Smith and Andrea Solberg will be looking to get a spot, too.

LIVE STREAM

Update: The Internet at Discovery Park, site of the NorCal Classic, is not working. Cell service is almost non-existent and Starlink is unable to be consistent enough to provide a livestream.

The team is recording the broadcast and uploading to YouTube, but the upload speeds are very, very, very slow. They are working on alternative solutions to get it uploaded faster.

I will post links to the YouTube uploads when they are available.
