We thought this might happen, but now it’s official. The 8-time CrossFit Games veteran and 2019 4th place finisher, Scott Panchik, is joining Rich Froning and Mayhem Freedom.
The news was dropped on Rogue Fitness’ Iron Game show ahead of the 20.1 Open announcement.
Panchik will be replacing Dre Strohm on Mayhem Freedom, a team that has won the last two team championships at the Games and four of the last five.
Froning indicated that Mayhem Freedom will be heading to England to compete in the CrossFit Strength in Depth Sanctional in a bid to earn an invite to compete at the 2020 CrossFit Games.
Mayhem Freedom will have Rich Froning, Scott Panchik, Tasia Percevecz and Chyna Cho on its roster for the 2020 CrossFit Games season.
