The rumors have been put to bed. The 6-time CrossFit Games champion, Tia-Clair Toomey will be making a run for another CrossFit Games title in 2023. After hinting that she might compete next year, Toomey and her husband, Shane Orr, made the decision official in their latest video on YouTube.
After outlining their busy schedule between now and the end of the year (more on this below), Toomey spilled the beans and excitedly announced at she is “going another year!”
Check out their official announcement below. And if you want to skip to the 2023 announcement, start at 7:41 into the video.

As for their schedule during this off-season, Toomey and Orr will be at the Rogue Invitational, but only as a spectator. Unfortunately, Toomey will not be making a surprise appearance on the competition floor.
After that, they are heading to the NOBULL Film Festival followed by a trip to Australia. In Australia they will be hosting a PRVN training camp and then Toomey will be competing at the Down Under Championship on a team alongside Brooke Wells and Ellie Turner.
Then it’s time to get to work preparing for the 2023 CrossFit Games!
