Justin Medeiros Has Withdrawn from the Legends Championship

Justin Medeiros is no longer on the Legends Championship leaderboard, indicating that the two-time CrossFit Games champion has withdrawn. Medeiros, who was confirmed to have accepted his invite on January 26, appears to be taking a different path to qualify for the 2026 CrossFit Games.

On Monday, the Legends Championship was brought up during the Boys Interrupted podcast when James Sprague said he thought the qualification spots would go to himself, Dallin, Tudor or Justin.

At that time Medeiros was still on the Legends Championship leaderboard. However, within the last 24 hours his name was removed.

Now it is unclear the path that Medeiros will take to qualify for the CrossFit Games. He will not compete at the Mayhem Classic, which begins on Friday. Next week is the Legends Championship.

After that, the only remaining in-person Semifinals are on the same weekend, Syndicate Crown and NorCal.

While the Syndicate Crown leaderboard on Competition Corner is not yet public, the NorCal leaderboard is. Medeiros is not on the leaderboard, but there are still currently five spots open for the men.

Should Medeiros forego in-person Semifinals, he can still qualify for the CrossFit Games via the Online Semifinals on June 11-15. The top 7 men and top 7 women will qualify to the Games via the Online Semifinals.

A request for comment from Medeiros has not been returned.
