Khan Porter & Harriet Roberts Win Pandaland CrossFit Challenge

Khan Porter and Harriet Roberts were teammates on the Project X team at the 2019 CrossFit Games. This year, both will be going back to the Games, but as individuals.

Over the weekend, Australians Porter and Roberts won the inaugural Pandaland CrossFit Challenge.

Porter’s main competition throughout the two-day Sanctional was Jacob Heppner. Heppner, however, will qualify via the Top 20 in the Open, and was not competing for a trip to the Games.

Behind Heppner was Adam Davidson.  Davidson started off the competition with an event win, but was unable to crack into the top 3 on an event the rest of the way.

Davidson finished 78th in the Open and is coming off ACL reconstructive surgery just 11 months ago. He has already qualified for the Brazil CrossFit Championship and CanWest CrossFit Championship so don’t be surprised if you see him near the top of the leaderboard later this year.

On the women’s side, Roberts ran away with the competition. Outside of a 2nd place finish on Event 1, Roberts went on to win the last four events.

Behind Roberts was Elena Carratala Sanahuja and Marnie Sykes who finished 2nd and 3rd overall, respectively.

Sanahuja finished 72nd in the world in this year’s Open while Sykes finished 110th.

Porter and Roberts joined Peter Shaw and Bethany Shadburne who won the SouthFit CrossFit Challenge this weekend. All four will receive invites to compete at the 2020 CrossFit Games.
