Three more individuals have received a two-year sanction for “judge misrepresentation” during this year’s CrossFit Online Semifinals. Eren Yayla was 45th when the leaderboard populated last Monday. However, he is now 282nd after CrossFit determined that his head judge, Yagmur Karablutu introduced herself as someone else.
As a result, CrossFit issued two-year sanctions to Eren Yayla, Yagmur Karablutu and Ulas Demirtas. The floor judge, Demirtas, received the sanction because CrossFit deemed he knowingly was involved in the misrepresentation of Karablutu and Oleksandra Berezutska.

Yayla did not receive any scoring adjustments as a result of his video submission.
The three Turkish individuals will now be banned from participating in CrossFit certified competitions through June 11, 2028.
Nine individuals have received a two-year sanction for judge misrepresentation this season.
In speaking with Yayla, he told The Barbell Spin that he will now shift his focus to the World Fitness Project. He added that he is only 24 and will be back when the sanction is lifted.
