It’s looking like one of the Russian qualified athletes has tested positive and will not be competing at the 2018 CrossFit Games. After Annie Thorisdottir’s announcement, the three non-Russian qualifiers took to Instagram to say they are clean and will be competing in Madison.
Adrian Mundwiler (2nd), Lukas Hogberg (3rd) and Bjorgvin Gudmundsson (5th) all came out and posted on their story that they will be in Madison and that they did not test positive for PEDs. If true, that would mean either Roman Khrennikov or Andrey Ganin will be out.

Meanwhile, Khrennikov and Ganin have made no comment and their latest posts are only related to training. If either are out and Thorisdottir is correct, her boyfriend Frederick Aegidius will be competing at the CrossFit Games in Madison. For now, all we can do is wait for the official announcement from CrossFit.
