Olivia Geisthardt will be taking Manon Angonese’s spot at this year’s Mayhem Classic. Angonese injured her psoas several weeks ago during 26.2 of the CrossFit Open and has elected to withdraw to focus on rehab.
Despite the injury, Angonese finished 40th in the world on 26.2 and ended up 113th overall in the 2026 CrossFit Open.
Her goal is now to get through Quarterfinals inside the top 2,000 so she can advance to the next stage of competition and remain eligible to qualify for the CrossFit Games.
In Angonese’s place is Olive Geisthardt. Most many not be familiar with Geisthardt as she has only competed in the CrossFit Open twice, in 2024 and now this year.
In 2024, she placed 1,640th in the world in the Open. She did not register for Quarterfinals that year even though she was well within the top 25%. Now this year she finished 27th in the world in the CrossFit Open and will get an opportunity to line up next to some of the top athletes in the world next month.

Geisthardt is not a stranger to competition though. In January she placed 3rd overall in the Pro division at TFX. Katelynn Sanders and Natalie Thompson were 1st and 2nd, respectively.
Geisthardt did post videos of 26.1 and 26.2 on YouTube. Check those out below…
Earlier today I reported that Arielle Loewen withdrew from the Mayhem Classic and that she will be replaced by Maddi Foutz.
