After two days of the CrossFit Filthy 150, Sara Sigmundsdottir, Justin Medeiros and The Athlete Program are atop the women’s, men’s and team leaderboards, respectively. The Ireland-based Sanctional has one more day left of competition.
The CrossFit Filthy 150 is the first Sanctional of the 2020 CrossFit season. The top male and female athletes, not already qualified via the Open, and the 1st place team will receive the first Sanctional invites this season.
Women
The top 3 women are Sigmundsdottir, Kristin Holte and Emma McQuaid. All three women are likely going to qualify via the Open again this year. That means the fight is for 4th place right now.
After Day 2, Steph Chung sits in 4th place followed by Andrea Solberg in 5th and Emelie Lundberg in 6th. None of these athletes have yet to qualify for the CrossFit Games.

Unlike the women where the top spots are held by athletes who have already qualified for the Games, the top of the men’s leaderboard is full of athletes looking to earn an invite to the Games.
Justin Medeiros, Adrian Mundwiler and Tim Paulson are 1, 2, 3 overall as well as the top athletes vying for the Sanctional invite. Sean Sweeney and Will Moorad, also not yet qualified, are in 4th and 5th place.

Team
For teams, this is the first chance to earn a trip to the 2020 CrossFit Games. Unlike the individuals, the CrossFit Open does not qualify teams to compete at the Games. Instead, teams must win a Sanctional competition to earn an invite.
With one day remaining, The Athlete Program (Mike Catris, Alastair MacKinnon, Charlotte Spence, Hanna Venemyr) are on top of the team leaderboard. The Progrm and ROMWOD MeatSquad are in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
