Beginning May 31, the top 40 men, 40 women and 30 teams will be in Knoxville, Tennessee for the Syndicate Crown, the home of the 2024 North America East Semifinal. These athletes will be looking to punch their ticket to the CrossFit Games in Ft. Worth, Texas.
This year, however, the Syndicate Crown isn’t just for the best athletes east of the Mississippi. The Syndicate Crown is hosting a Community Event in the Mary Costa Plaza just outside the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Within steps of the main entrance to the Coliseum, the Community Event athletes will be competing in the middle of vendor village.
The Syndicate Crown Community Event is technically three separate community competitions – a Solo, Trio and Mixed Pairs competition. Those looking to compete can sign up for just one of the divisions or, if they are feeling up to it, more than one.
For those competing, the registration fee will get you on the competition floor for the Community Event AND you will also receive a free 3-day spectator ticket to watch the elite athletes compete inside the Coliseum! You read that right…participate in the Community Event and watch the elite athletes at no additional charge.
Let’s take a look at the schedule of the Community Event…
FRIDAY – “Solo”
Individual athletes will take the floor on Friday. Athletes can choose between an RX and Intermediate division.
Cost to compete: $150/athlete (includes 3-day spectator ticket)
SATURDAY – “Trio”
Saturday is for same-sex teams of 3 (MMM or FFF). Grab two teammates and form a Trio. Teams will be able to choose from RX, Intermediate and Scaled divisions.
Cost to compete: $450/team (includes 3-day spectator ticket for all team members)
SUNDAY – “Pairs”
And on the final day, the Community Event is mixed (MF) pairs. Similar to the Trio divisions, there will be RX, Intermediate and Scaled divisions to choose from.
Cost to compete: $300/team (includes 3-day spectator ticket for both team members)

The North America East Semifinal and Syndicate Crown Community Event run from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Each Community Event division will take on three events during that day of competition.Â
To register for one (or two or three) of the Community Event competitions, head over to Competition Corner. Registration opens on Wednesday, February 28, at 12:00pm EST. All divisions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so don’t delay.
