Wodland Fest is one of the In-Person Qualifying Events for the 2025 CrossFit Games season. While the in-person competition is not until April, the online qualifier begins on January 18.
The online qualifier will consist of three workouts with the workouts released one-a-day from January 18-20. Athletes will have until January 25 to complete the workouts and submit their scores.
The top 20 men and women will be invited to compete at Wodland Fest in Málaga, Spain, from April 25-27 at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace, a world-class venue in the heart of Málaga.
Those athletes will compete for a trip to the 2025 CrossFit Games with the top 2 men and top 2 women earning an invite.
It appears that the online qualifier and in-person qualifying event will be open to all athletes without restriction to geographic location or passport status.
This is in contrast to the Rebel Renegade Games in Africa where only athletes with an African or UAE passport (or train and live in those regions) can compete.
Not Just For Elite Individuals
Wodland Fest is more than just the elite individual competition. There will be also multiple 4-person team divisions ranging from RX to Masters to scaled and beginner teams.
There will be over 2,500 athletes competing during the last weekend in April.
Registration for the online qualifier opens on January 10. More details, including links to register, will be coming soon.
