Lukas Hogberg, five-time fittest man in Sweden, made another big move this year – this time quite literally. He announced via Instagram today he will be leaving Stockholm’s CrossFit Nordic and moving to Spain to compete for CrossFit Marbella.
“It’s going to be nice with some warmer weather,” Hogberg said. “I think it’s also good to try something different and new!”

Leaving Sweden now for a little while. Moving down to Spain, Marbella🇪🇸 It’s going to be nice with some warmer weather 🤩 I think it’s also good to try something different and new! A very big thanks to @crossfitnordic for everything. Feels sad to leave but you will always be in my heart! ❤️ So from now on I will compete for @crossfitmarbella and I’m so excited 🤩💥 @haglund8
Hogberg made news earlier this year when he announced after two weeks he would not be continuing with the remainder of the 2020 Open, citing stress as the biggest reason why he would stop. He has claimed he will be competing in more Sanctional events than past years, so we should see a lot of him in the months to come – perhaps with a new Spanish tan.
Sanctionals Season kicks off this week, Nov. 22-24, with the CrossFit Filthy 150 in Dublin, Ireland.
