Annie Thorisdottir and Frederik Aegidius welcomed their second child together, with the two-time CrossFit Games champion sharing a photograph cradling the little one. “And just like that my heart grew a few more sizes ❤️ grateful beyond words to have my little guy in my arms,” she captioned.
Thorisdottir, who gave birth to her daughter, Freyja, in August 2020, delivered her newborn son via C-section. In the post, she shared that the baby is nine pounds, healthy and happy.
Thorisdottir has competed at the CrossFit Games 13 times with her first appearance at the 2009 CrossFit Games at The Ranch in Aromas, California. She was the first female athlete to win back-to-back CrossFit Games titles in 2011 and 2012. She has stood on the podium six titles as an individual. Last season, Thorisdottir finished 13th at the 2023 CrossFit Games.
