Bethany Shadburne and her fiancé, Randy Flores, are getting married tomorrow, September 27 in Dripping Springs, Texas. Flores, a strength and conditioning coach for the Los Angeles Lakes, proposed to Shadburne this past Christmas.
The timing for the wedding fits within the busy schedules of the couple. For Shadburne, it comes right after the CrossFit Games and before the off-season competitions start back up. And for Flores, it’s also the off-season for him and the Lakers.
Shadburne, a four-time CrossFit Games veteran, has missed the past two CrossFit Games. In 2021, Shadburne tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the start of the competition and could not compete. This year, Shadburne sat the 2022 Games season out to deal with a lingering back issue.
