The USA Weightlifting’s National University and Under-25 Championships are in Ogden, Utah, this weekend and last night Gabe Stapinksi made one of the craziest saves in weightlifting history.
On Stapinski’s 115kg snatch attempt, he began to spin as he stood up from his squat. Stapinski wouldn’t stop, however, until he made a full 360-degree spin with the weight locked overhead.
The lift was good with three white lights!
