Back on February 10, 2001, CrossFit.com published its first workout. Titled “Fast and Heavy”, the workout was a couplet of 400-meter runs and dumbbell thrusters. No weight was listed with ranking based on a composite of load and total time.
Fast forward 25 years and today’s CrossFit.com workout is a repeat workout of what started it all.Â
If you go to CrossFit.com today, you will be greeted by an image of what the original CrossFit website looked like for years. The image, however, has been updated to reflect this year with the start of the CrossFit Open coming in just 16 days and a list of the upcoming Level 1 seminars.

But as much as CrossFit has changed over the years, this workout stands the test of time. Do it…give it a shot…
