CrossFit legend Katrín Davíðsdóttir has officially added a new title to her résumé — mom! The two-time “Fittest Woman on Earth” and former NHL star Brooks Laich have welcomed their first child together, a healthy baby girl. The couple shared the announcement on Instagram Wednesday night.
Emberly Heba Laich was born on October 6, 2025.
In the collabed post, the couple added the following caption:
“Our hearts are overflowing with love as we welcome our daughter into this world. Becoming her parents has been the greatest gift we ever could have imagined – our precious, peaceful, powerful little girl who was born under the full supermoon!
“Our world is forever brighter with you in it, our Emberly ❤️”
The couple went public with their relationship back in August 2021. After three years of dating, Laich and Davíðsdóttir got engaged in 2024 and have now welcomed their first child together.
