Don Faul, CrossFit CEO, spoke at the West Coast Affiliate Summit at CrossFit Invictus earlier this month. During his speech Faul shared that CrossFit would be launching a new YouTube channel specifically focused on training for CrossFit coaches and owners. The new channel was officially created on September 23, 2024, and is called “CrossFit Training“.
“This will be just about education for you [gym owners] and your coaches that will make you better,” shared Faul during his speech. He continued, “A free resource with really high quality content. We think about this as an always-on resource that you can use to hone and refine your craft.”
Faul would go on to say that CrossFit would “get that out the door” in the next month or so and would be looking for feedback from affiliate owners on what they would like to see on the channel in the future. The channel was officially launched 10 days later.
However, the ‘new’ YouTube channel already has four videos posted. But all of those videos are dated with the most recent video uploaded in January 2023. The oldest video was uploaded back in February 2019.
So it appears that CrossFit has restored an old YouTube account, likely previously called “CrossFit Education” since the profile image reflects CrossFit Education rather than the CrossFit Training branding.
The channel has yet to publish any new content but currently has 338 subscribers.
