Danielle Brandon Allegedly Changed Coaches Again

Danielle Brandon has reportedly left Adam Neiffer and is now working with Domenic D’Agostino, also known as Coach Dom. Brandon began working with Coach Dom shortly after the CrossFit Games, per insider sources.

The move would mark her fifth coach in just over four years for the 8-time CrossFit Games veteran.

DB’s Coaching History

In the weeks leading up to the 2022 CrossFit Games, Brandon abruptly left Justin Cotler’s Underdogs Athletics and began working with Matt Torres at Brute. She would go on to have her best finish at the CrossFit Games, taking 4th place overall.

While working with Torres, the two became romantically involved for a brief stint. While that relationship would explode quite dramatically, she also switched coaches again. This time Brandon stayed within the Brute camp, but now under Coach El Senouvor’s guidance.

But then in December 2025, parted ways with the Brute camp and joined coaches Adam Neiffer and Jesse Bifano. Things seemed to be going well from outside, but alas it appears DB has once again left another coach.

Apparently Brandon stopped working with Bufano shortly before the 2026 CrossFit Games. And then between the Games and Wodapalooza SoCal, Brandon and Neiffer stopped working together.

Keep in mind Neiffer was the coach of Team Outcast, Danielle’s team at Wodapalooza SoCal. However, apparently there were concerns that Neiffer might not coach the team following Justin Medeiros’ accident and subsequent withdraw by Medeiros and Ellie Turner.

Coach Dom

And enter Coach Dom.

From what I have been told, the two have been working together for the past two months.

And when in doubt, check Instagram. Danielle is now following Coach Dom, but is not following Adam Nieffer…

Coach Dom has a roster of athletes that he works with. Most notably, he coaches Gui Malheiros, Nate Ackermann and Miley Wade. Malheiros and Ackermann are both competing at the Rogue Invitational…and so is Danielle.

Despite all of the coaching changes throughout the past several years, Brandon remains one of the most consistent, top athletes in the sport. Since that 4th place finish at the 2022 CrossFit Games, Danielle has rattled off four more consecutive top 10 finishes, including another 4th place finish at the 2025 CrossFit Games.

Sure she might have a new coach, but expect the same top performances.
