Good Dudes Coffee Co is officially here! After years of working on it, coffee drinkers around the world can now enjoy a cup of coffee from beans hand selected by CrossFit Games legend Josh Bridges.
Good Dudes Coffee Co has been long in the making. The first time we saw something from Good Dudes Coffee on Instagram was back in February 2017. According to Bridges, this idea had been floating around for a few years. The idea was tabled around that time and was resurrected about seven months ago.
Since then, Bridges has been working to find the right beans from around the world. Bridges has been working closely with the roaster to make the perfect cup of coffee. “We kept everything direct from the farmer,” said Josh Bridges. “Our roaster is super passionate about connecting with those that care for the beans themselves.”
And after years of cultivating this idea, yesterday afternoon the online store went live. There are four different blends available, each featuring beans from a different region.
- The Lincoln (Peruvian & Fair Trade)
- The Roosevelt (Ethiopian Yirgacheffe)
- The Sampson (Colombia)
- The Washington (Guatemala Antigua)
Each blend has its own unique flavor. The Roosevelt is “a floral cup with notes of grapefruit, lemongrass, and honey” while the dark roast The Sampson results in a ” bittersweet taste”.
The 12-oz bags come as whole beans and range from $15.99 to $17.99 each. You can also subscribe, get a fresh bag (or bags) every 1-4 weeks and save 10%.
As for which blend to pick, Bridges is a huge fan of The Roosevelt, the Ethiopian blend. Bridges added, “Love the pour over but recently I’ve been doing aero press.”
