The CrossFit Open is not something that most can just train through and not worry about. Everyone is only one bad workout away from going from 1st in a region to sitting on the outside looking in.

After 17.1 there were a handful of athletes that competed at the 2016 CrossFit Games who were sitting outside the top 20 (or 30 in Australia and Europe). However, it was early and it was only one workout. Now after three weeks, the top athletes have settled in and where they need to be. The only exception is Spencer Hendel, but he has already declared that he is going team with Austin Malleolo.

Here are the worldwide and region rankings for each of the 40 men that competed at the 2016 CrossFit Games. The yellow highlighted rows indicated that the athlete is sitting outside a qualifying spot.
