We knew right after the CrossFit Games ended that Kristin Reffet was leaving CrossFit Mayhem and going individual in 2018. The departure meant that Rich Froning and team would need to find a replacement, but the team had been silent on the situation…until now.
In an Instagram post yesterday, the five remaining members posed for a photo with an empty space for the 6th member. The caption simply said, “We have 5…who will be our 6th?”
The comments section has blown up with many throwing out names like Jennifer Smith, Stacie Tovar and Sara Sigmundsdottir. For now, all we can do is guess. Stay tuned to The Barbell Spin as this story unfolds.
