Last night, Dave Castro posted a photo on Instagram of him standing in Jacksonville, Florida, with the #CROSSFITtoJAX hashtag on a stadium jumbotron. While it wasn’t an official announcement, many believed it might have been Castro’s hint that the 2017 CrossFit Games were going to be held in Jacksonville.
However, this afternoon, Castro posted another photo. This time, Castro is in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga was one of the other cities rumored to have been in the running for the 2017-2019 CrossFit Games.
Now that two cities have been featured by Castro, a new question arises…are these cities still in the running OR is Castro showing city by city that bid but didn’t win and that the final photo posted by Castro will be the winner of the RFP and will host the 2017 CrossFit Games?
