Jennifer Smith and Lukas Esslinger to Compete at Swiss Alpine Battle

The third super team competing at the 2017 Swiss Alpine Battle has been announced. CrossFit Games veterans Jennifer Smith and Lukas Esslinger will be traveling to Switzerland to compete the weekend of September 15.

The pair, who are also dating, have named themselves Team Fanny Pack. Smith was on the CrossFit Games demo team and is coming off a foot injury. Esslinger finished 19th at the 2017 CrossFit Games in Madison.

They will be taking on two other super teams. Team Barbellner (Patrick Vellner and Lindy Barber) and Team Muscle Mountain (Sam Briggs and Adrian Mundwiler) are also competing this year.
