If you were looking for the three-time CrossFit Games veteran Tennil Beuerlein on the 2019 CrossFit Open leaderboard, you would have been unable to find her. Beuerlein has been relatively absent on social media during the Open, but has posted some content throughout the past five weeks.
But if you were wondering why Beuerlein was not competing this year, now we know. Beuerlein is pregnant! She is due in September and will have a little baby boy. Beuerlein joins fellow Games athlete Kara Saunders who is also sitting out the 2019 CrossFit Games season because of pregnancy.

This season will be a little different for me…. Anyone that knows me can tell you how much I have been wanting to grow this sweet family of mine. A new little Man will be joining this Family SEPTEMBER 14th!!! 😍😍😍 So pumped to share my journey through this wonderful adventure. Training is so different, but I love it and the way it makes me feel! 💙 Thank you to all my friends reaching out and checking on my absence this open! It was so weird for me, but I’m so excited for the path I’m on right now 😊 #beuerleinbaby #joiningthepregnantclub #somanypregocrossfitmomsrightnow 😳💪🏻 #Ilovebeingamom #familyisforever Photography by @cisco_visuals Thank you!
