Andrew Hiller got his hands on an Affiliate Town Hall meeting from back on September 5. The town hall meeting was recorded and uploaded to CrossFit’s YouTube page as an unlisted video. That is, you can only access it if you have the link.
It’s my understanding that these live virtual town hall meetings are recorded and are later made available to affiliates who could not attend during the live stream. So it looks like that link was shared with Hiller.
At the 11:32 mark, Faul tells the affiliates, “[We are] making sure we are moving forward for next year’s sport season.” But as Hiller points out, this statement is in stark contrast to Faul’s statement on August 11 that there would be transparency around the progress of the investigation and how CrossFit intends to move forward.
That’s right…CrossFit will have a 2025 CrossFit Games season!
But under what format?
As for the results of the investigation, Faul says he expects it will be ready in the coming weeks. That was back on September 5. He also says he will share the results with the affiliates before the rest of the community (15:13).
