Mattie Rogers earned herself three silver medals at the 2017 Pan American Championships in Miami, Florida. Rogers, competing in the 69kg weight category, went 5-for-6 on the day.
Rogers’ only miss was her first snatch attempt at 95kg. She upped the weight to 96kg and didn’t look back. She hit her final snatch at 100kg, but was 7kg off the first place lift by Leidy Solis of Colombia.
Rogers looked solid on the clean and jerks going 125, 130, 133. Her final lift was just 1kg shy of her current American Record set earlier this year. It was also 1kg short of the gold medal clean and jerk, also set by Solis.
