The 2023 Rogue Invitational is coming back for its fifth year hosting one of the premier off-season competitions. Once again, the 2023 version will be hosted at Dell Diamond near Austin, Texas, from October 27-29, 2023.
And while we are still five months away, tickets are now on sale.
Rogue is offering packages for all price points, from the General Admission Ticket for $105 for the weekend to a private suite for 12 people that runs up to $5,040. Oh, and parking is sold separately for $20 per day. Kids under 12 receive a free general admission ticket.
Rogue doesn’t pocket all of the ticket fees, however, every ticket purchased increases the prize purse by $5 USD that is ultimately paid out to the Rogue Invitational athletes – both the CrossFit and the Strongman athletes.
Right now the current prize purse for the Athlete Fund is almost $1.5 million ($1,484,480.02). That figure can go up through a variety of ways. The contributions of the 2023 prize purse are as follows:
- Rogue Fitness has provided a $1 million cash investment.
- $275,000 of Bitcoin purchased at $16,000 per coin. Any growth on this coin will add to the purse and will be paid out at the valuation at the time the prize purse is locked.
- $5 per attendee ticket sold will be added to the purse.
- 10% of registration fees for the 2023 online qualifier, “The Q”
- NEW: $5.00 for every Rogue Invitational T-shirt sold
- NEW: $5.00 for every pair of GORUCK Ballistic Trainers sold on roguefitness.com
- Sponsors will have the ability to make direct contributions to the purse
And regardless of what happens to the price of Bitcoin, the prize purse will never go below $1.275 million for 2023.
