Jeff Adler and Laura Horvath won the 2025 Rogue Invitational. After nine events, the two former CrossFit Games and Rogue Invitational champions stood on the podium once again.
Throughout the weekend, there were battles for the podium. And in both cases, the top 2 spots were essentially locked up heading into the final event. However, the race for 3rd place came down to the final sandbag carry.
In the end, Justin Medeiros and Roman Khrennikov took 2nd and 3rd, respectively, on the men’s side. On the women’s side, Alex Gazan returned to the podium in 2nd place, just five months after her horrific, nearly career-ending car accident. And Lucy Campbell once again stood on another podium this year as she took 3rd place.Â
But not everything was good. Three athletes withdrew this weekend. Uldis Upenieks tore a calf muscle on one of the log clean and presses. He did not complete the event and withdrew from the competition. Emma Tall injured her shoulder warming up for Event 3 and did not step onto the competition floor. Sam Kwant tore his Achilles coming down from the final log, ending his weekend.
And there were others who finished the weekend, but were a bit beaten up. Emily Rolfe strained her calf on Friday, but was able to finish out the weekend. Harry Lightfoot was dealing with a bit of a back issue throughout the weekend. He also finished.
