The 2022 Zelos Games are just a couple months away and the prize purse for the Men’s and Women’s Elite divisions has been announced. The total prize purse this year for the Elite division will be $34,500 with $4,000 going to 1st place overall.
What started as an online competition will expand a bit in its second year. In addition to the four online workouts, there will also be a live invitational event over two days in Las Vegas, Nevada. Twelve men and 12 women will be invited to compete in person on November 12 & 13.
These 24 athletes will be doing the same four workouts as the online competition and is intended to showcase the athletes and the workouts (think like the CrossFit Open workout announcements…but bigger) and to create more awareness of the event. That in-person competition will be streamed live on the Zelos Games’ YouTube channel.
The prize purse for this year’s Elite division will include payouts to the top 10 men and women for their overall finish, the top 5 men and women at the live competition and there will payouts for the top 3 of each online workout.

And if you’re going to be in Las Vegas on November 12 & 13, go buy a ticket to watch the live competition.
