Over the weekend, Arielle Loewen and Gui Malheiros took part in the Red Bull Rancher Strong competition in Fort Worth, Texas. The rancher-inspired obstacle course race featured athletes from various specialties including CrossFit, OCR, F45, American Ninja Warrior and more.
There was little room for error in the elimination-style event, but that did not create an issue for the four-time CrossFit Games veteran, Arielle Loewen.
Loewen breezed through stage after stage and was never in jeopardy of advancing to the next stage. Loewen would end up beating Tiana Webberley, a former American Ninja Warrior competitor, in the finals.Â
Gui Malheiros would end up taking 5th place overall. Thomas Van Tonder, an OCR World Champion, would take the men’s title.Â
Chandler Smith was in attendance…but it was not the CrossFit Games veteran. It was a different guy named Chandler Smith.
