CrossFit Mayhem Almost Perfect in Victory at CRASH Crescendo

The team competition for the 2025 CrossFit Games season is a bit different this year. With the Open and In-Affiliate Semifinals being online, teams will only compete in-person once they are at the CrossFit Games. In order to gain experience working together, teams will need to find other competitions to hone their teamwork.

This past weekend was just that at CRASH Crescendo. Eight teams that finished inside the top 60 worldwide headed to Spartanburg, South Carolina, this weekend to compete at CrossFit CRASH.

One team stood out among the rest…CrossFit Mayhem. While the roster had Luke Parker in for Angelo DiCicco, Angelo ended up competing. (It’s unconfirmed but it’s likely Angelo was going to skip out to prep for broadcasting duties. Once Sean Woodland stepped in, Angelo could refocus on his competitive aspirations this year.)

Out of six events, CrossFit Mayhem won five. The other finish…3rd place in the Clean & Jerk workout (Event 2). CrossFit Mayhem ended with 590 points. The EMOM Company took 2nd place with 525 points. MoTown rounded out the podium with 515 points.
