Danielle Brandon Joins Team North America for Upcoming TYR WZA SoCal

Earlier this week the first two athletes who will be competing at TYR Wodapalooza SoCal were announced. Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr (World Team) and Jeff Adler (North America) were introduced on the Talking Elite Fitness YouTube channel. Today, Danielle Brandon was the latest athlete revealed to be competing in Huntington Beach, California, this September.

Brandon, now a six-time CrossFit Games athlete, has never finished worse than 15th with her best finish coming in 2022 where she placed 4th. She joins the reigning 2023 CrossFit Games champion, Jeff Adler, on Team North America.

The TYR Wodapalooza SoCal competition features a new team format squaring off the best athletes in North America versus the best from around the world. Each team will consist of four men and four women with the team captain selecting the 4th male and female athlete.

With that, Talking Elite Fitness will announce the first six members of each team live on their podcast from now through July 19. After that, fans will get the opportunity to vote for the team captains.

The teams will battle for the top prize of $160,000 that goes to the winning team. The losing team will take home $40,000 to be split amongst the eight team members.
