With the World Fitness Project Tour Event 1 starting on Friday, Haley Adams’ name is no longer on the leaderboard. Adams, who just (unofficially) qualified for the 2025 CrossFit Games shared that she has been sick all week.
As such, it appears that Adams has elected to skip the first competition of the World Fitness Project. She is the second Pro athlete on the women’s side to sit out the competition in Westfield, Indiana. Last month Emma McQuaid said she was not healthy enough to compete and withdrew from the competition.
Because of McQuaid’s withdrawal, the WFP took the top 11 women from the Online Challenger Qualifier to participate in the Pro Division. Now, with Adams’ withdrawal, Sydney Michalyshen has been upgraded from the Challenger Division to the Pro Division.
With Michalyshen moving, the Women’s Challenger field currently only has 19 women listed on the leaderboard.
So far no men have withdrawn.
