Earlier this week I did the math and projected that only two men and women would receive an invite from the online qualifier to compete at the 2025 Rogue Invitational. And this afternoon…I was proven correct.
The Rogue Invitational officially announced that a total of four athletes have qualified via the “Q”. The remaining athletes have been invited at the discretion of the Rogue Invitational*.
*the Rogue Points System is the foundation for the automatic invites. However, it does appear that certain athletes were not invited despite being ranked higher For example, Saxon Panchik and Travis Mayer were not invited while Henrik Haapalainen and Colten Mertens were. Panchik and Mayer were ranked 17th and 18th, respectively, while Haapalainen and Mertens were ranked 20th and 21st, respectively.
The qualifier invites have gone out to Elisa Fuliano and Paige Powers on the women’s side and Uldis Upenieks and Fabian Hermans on the men’s side. Saxon Panchik, who was originally in 1st place, now appears in 3rd Rogue’s announcement.Â
However, a look at the current qualifier leaderboard still shows Panchik in first place. It appears that the penalties may have not have been updated on the leaderboard before the social media post went out.
So with this, here is what the rosters for the 2025 Rogue Invitational will look like. The men’s roster seems pretty clear. The remaining top ranked athletes make an even 20-athlete roster.
The women’s however, has 10 remaining athletes but only 8 spots. I’m assuming Gabi Migala will not be ready and has declined her spot. That leaves two spots for likely these three women: Alexis Raptis, Alex Gazan, Tia-Clair Toomey. Which athlete does not go to Scotland?

Only inviting two men and women is a departure from previous years where the top 5 men and women would receive an invite to the Rogue Invitational. This year, however, the change occurred after the close of the online qualifier.
