Mirjam von Rohr has once again set another Olympic Weightlifting record in her home country of Switzerland. Von Rohr broke the 71kg weight category record in the clean and jerk this past June at the 2024 Swiss Weightlifting Championships. Over the weekend, von Rohr bested her clean and jerk on the platform with a 113kg lift.
Von Rohr would finish the day with a 74kg snatch and 113kg clean and jerk for a 187kg total. She won her weight category (71kg) and had the highest Sinclair total among all females competing.

While von Rohr won handily, she left a lot on the table after only hitting her first snatch attempt. She missed her 78kg and 83kg attempts. However, she went 3-for-3 on the clean and jerks.
Von Rohr fell short of qualifying for the European Championships, but she said she is close and would like to qualify in the future.
