The Mayhem Classic is the first In-Person Qualifying Event of the 2025 CrossFit Games season. The two-day competition is April 5-6 at CrossFit Mayhem in Cookeville, Tennessee. The top 2 men and women will be the first athletes to qualify for the CrossFit Games.
Over the past several weeks the Mayhem Classic team has dropped a few pieces of information. So far we have learned Heavy Isabel is one of the events (as it will be at all North American IPQEs) and that the Mayhem Classic will have an $81,500 prize purse.
Outside of that, they have done a good job at keeping information from being leaked.
However, I did get my hands on the Athlete Info Packet for the Mayhem Classic. Most of the six-page packet provides logistic details around parking, food, athlete care and athlete briefings.
The most notable piece of information for the fans (in-person spectators and those watching the live stream) is the schedule of events.
Both days of competition will fit inside a 5-hour window. Saturday will run from 3:00-8:00pm Central Time. Sunday will begin at 12:00pm Central Time and will wrap up at 5:20pm with closing ceremonies immediately after that.
For those attending in-person, gates open at 2:00pm on Saturday and at 11:00am on Sunday.
