The Fittest Experience was this weekend in Taylor, Texas, just outside Austin. The annual competition attracts hundreds of athletes to compete in a wide range of divisions, from Pro to “Rookie” plus age group and team divisions.
The organizers of The Fittest Experience are also running this year’s TFX Invitational, one of the In-Person Qualifying Events for the 2025 CrossFit Games season.
The TFX Invitational will host 36 men and women who will be vying for a spot at the CrossFit Games. TFX will field its roster via the top 33 athletes from North America West in the CrossFit Open and three from this past weekend’s The Fittest Experience.
The podium finishers in the Pro divisions will receive an invite to compete and qualify this May at the TFX Invitational, given that they finish in the top 1% worldwide in the Open.
The top 1% requirement is an overarching rule this year to qualify for the CrossFit Games.
As such, six athletes – three men and three women – have already earned their spot at the TFX Invitational.Â

Casey Strong, Jacob Marlow and Matt Brody finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd, respectively, on the men’s side.
Katelynn Sanders, Hannah Black and Tracy Johnson were 1,2,3 on the women’s side.
The TFX Invitational is scheduled for May 16-18 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
