Once Dave Castro dropped the bomb that the teams would be reduced to four athletes in 2018 was announced, the first thing everyone thought about was CrossFit Mayhem. Less than a week after announcing their 6th member, Tasia Percevecz, Castro threw a wrench in the plan.
Questions surrounded which male and female would be left off the team while some speculated that it might be easier to just make two teams. For those who guessed the latter, it appears they were correct.
In an Instagram post this afternoon, Froning shared a video of a whiteboard showing two team names, Team Freedom and Team Independence. Froning uses the hashtag, #davecastroisaprick, in his caption as he is obviously not happy with the change to the team format.
So with two teams being formed, the question then is…who will be on which team? Stay tuned.
