PRVN hosted two community workouts at its new gym in Nashville, Tennessee, this weekend. Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr was in attendance to meet those who stopped by the gym on Saturday and to give some coaching cues.
However, in a story posted on the @prvnfitness Instagram page and later re-shared by Toomey-Orr herself, Tia is shown wearing a black brace on her left wrist. An archived video of the Instagram story is below…
At this time it is unclear how severe the injury is and whether it will impact her this week when 24.1 of the CrossFit Open is released. However, in speaking with someone who was in attendance this weekend said Tia did not wear the brace the entire time, an indication that it might not be a serious injury.
We reached out to PRVN for comment and received the response, “Nothing to report at the moment.”
On Thursday, Toomey-Orr will begin her 2024 CrossFit Games season in an effort to win her 7th CrossFit Games title.
