What Does It Cost to Be a Vendor at the CrossFit Games?

One of the more fun things to do while at the CrossFit Games, aside from watching the fittest men and women compete, is to walk through Vendor Village and see (and buy) all of the latest CrossFit gear out there. This year, access to Vendor Village and the “CrossFit Fan Experience” is free to the public whether you have a ticket to watch the competition inside Dickies Arena or not.

The story is much different for vendors. In doing some research for the upcoming 2024 CrossFit Games I ran across the 2024 Vendor Information Deck, which is publicly available if you know where to look. The Vendor Deck provides some interesting details around the Games, which will have a much different look and feel with it being in Ft. Worth for the first time.

From the cost to rent booth space inside Vendor Village to what the Games “campus” layout will look like, let’s take a look at what’s been shared with vendors interested in setting up shop in Ft. Worth.

ON-SITE ATTENDANCE

Since 2021, on-site spectators has increased the past two years. From 57,372 in 2021 to 69,969 in 2023, more fans made the trek to Madison, Wisconsin, for the CrossFit Games. And according to the Vendor Deck, CrossFit expecting continued growth over last year’s attendance.

2021-2023 spectator growth trend at CrossFit Games

One of the factors CrossFit is expecting more on-site spectators is that “The CrossFit Experience” (aka Vendor Village) will be free to anyone all week. So whether you were able to snag a ticket to watch the competition inside Dickies Arena or not, you can go inside Vendor Village, participate in all the various CrossFit activations, and more for FREE.

VENUE LAYOUT

Shortly after Dickies Arena was named the home of the 2024 CrossFit Games, it was known that the Will Rogers Memorial Center would host Vendor Village. A quick look at an aerial view would show that Will Rogers Memorial Center was a short walk from Dickies Arena.

In fact, according to the Vendor Deck, it is less than a 300-meter walk from the exit of Dickies Arena to the entrance of Will Rogers Memorial Center. The path between the two, dubbed The CrossFit Boulevard, will feature experiential activations, large misting fans (cuz it’s gonna be hot), portable AC and more.

Once inside Vendor Village, there will be 200,000-square feet of vendor space featuring a livestream viewing area with a beer garden, food vendors, a spectator workout area and vendor booths (duh!).

But with Vendor Village being a solid 10+ minute walk from Dickies Arena, CrossFit shared in the Vendor Deck that there would be consistent breaks to drive traffic to The CrossFit Experience.

VENDOR BOOTH COSTS

As you can probably imagine, the cost to rent a booth inside Vendor Village at the CrossFit Games is not cheap. Add in travel and lodging expenses and the cost to ship pallets full of merchandise and it’s even more expensive.

So while travel and shipping costs will vary, let’s just take a look at the cost to rent a booth. There are three standard options to choose from:

  • 10′ x 10′ space: $9,000
  • 10′ x 20′ space: $19,500
  • 10′ x 30′ premium space: $35,500

As you might imagine, renting a larger space comes with some additional perks such as additional advertising space in the CrossFit Games app or tickets to the CrossFit Games.
