Rich and Hillary Froning Adopt Baby Boy

Late last night Hillary Froning announced via Instagram that she and her husband, Rich Froning, adopted a baby boy. The adoption is the couple’s second. The Froning’s adopted their first child, Lakelyn, in 2015.

The newest addition to the Froning family is Richard Lyle Froning III “Trice”. He was born April 25. Rich and Hillary had several setbacks over the past seven months after three adoptions fell through, but after all of that the Froning’s are now a family of four.

Similar to the adoption in 2015, Rich Froning will have to shift his focus to competition in two weeks as he and his team, CrossFit Mayhem, compete at the CrossFit Games Central Regional in order to qualify for the 2017 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin, this August.

CrossFit Mayhem has won the CrossFit Games Affiliate Cup the past two years and are looking to win for a third consecutive year.

As I type this caption huge tears roll down my face to share with you our family has become a family of 4!!! The last 7 months have been beyond a struggle, as we have had 3 failed adoptions. I’ve hit rock bottom many of times, only to be picked up again. But just like lakelyn, he is worth all the tears, heartbreak and waiting. I would go through all the suffering again just so God could bring my babies into our arms in miraculous ways! That’s exactly what they both are, Miracles! I will never take one second for granted or the privilege and honor of being my two sweet babies mama! I can’t believe that God has handpicked the two most precious babies in the world for us! US! I’ve learned to always trust in His plan, His timing, again, it’s always better than mine. I want to thank ALL of you for your prayers along our journey!
