The IWF has disclosed the IOC’s findings from its 2008 Beijing Olympics reanalysis program. While a smaller number of athletes tested positive than those competing at the 2012 London Olympics, seven weightlifters were found to have Adverse Analytical results.
As rumored prior to this disclosure, Marina Shainvoa and Nadezda Evstyukhina both tested positive. Also, Ilya Ilyin now has positive samples from both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. All athletes listed below have been provisionally suspended until the cases are closed.
