Is the Men’s Signed Pro Roster Set for the 2026 WFP Season?

After a two week delay in announcing signed Pros for the 2026 World Fitness Project season, it appears that the men’s roster is one shy from being full. Today, three more men were announced to have signed their contracts leaving just one spot remaining. And unless James Sprague changed his mind, the 2025 WFP champion will be the final male athlete to be announced.

In today’s announcement, Jonne Koski, Colten Mertens and Tola Morakinyo were formally announced as signed Pros for the upcoming season. Morakinyo’s signing is important because he finished 24th overall in the 2025 WFP season.

This indicates that four men in the top 20 declined their contract. Those would be Dallin Pepper, Ricky Garard, Justin Medeiros and Jeff Adler.

Sprague broke the news on the CF Network that he was the only one of the “Boys” who will be competing in the WFP this season, implying that Pepper and Medeiros would not be. Additionally, Tommy Marquez, who works for WFP, said on a recent Talking Elite Fitness podcast that Ricky Garard and Jeff Adler were out.

And so going through the announcements 19 athletes have been formally announced as signed Pros, leaving just James Sprague as the final one to be announced. But what if he changed his mind? Then Dani Camacho, 25th in the 2025 season standings, would be in line for the next contract.

But while the men’s roster is nearly sorted out, it’s a much different picture on the women’s side. Only seven of the 20 spots have been announced.

The big question is, why? Why have almost all of the men signed their contracts (and been announced) while less than half of the women have been announced?

Did a significant share decline? Are they negotiating? Did they wait until the deadline to sign their contract? The original deadline to sign was last Thursday, but I’ve heard that may have been extended. Either way, you would expect more than seven women to have been announced by now.

Maybe we will find out soon enough. Maybe not. Who knows?

Until then, here is who has signed their contracts so far…

On the women’s side the only athlete to publicly announce she has declined her contract is Lucy Campbell. We also expect Brooke Wells to decline as she previously announced she was retiring after last season.

No word on whether the remaining women who finished in the top 20 have accepted their contract or not.
