Lucy Campbell Declined 2026 WFP Pro Card Contract

All of the focus around the 2026 Pro Cards has been around the men. But over the weekend Talking Elite Fitness published an interview with Lucy Campbell where she shares that she declined her contract for the 2026 WFP season.

Campbell finished 4th overall in the 2025 WFP season and was set to receive $55,000 in 2026 as part of her guaranteed contract for being a signed Pro athlete.

However, Campbell told hosts Tommy Marquez and Lauren Kalil that the decision came down the amount of competitions and her desire to compete as long as possible. “It was a tough decision. I’m not going to lie,” Campbell explained.

“I think, ultimately, it came down to volume of competition and longevity in the sport. I think it’s hard saying no knowing that I am ultimately leaving money on the table,” she added.

Campbell is the first female athlete who finished in the top 20 of the 2025 season to publicly announce that she will not participate in the 2026 WFP season.

That is a different story for the men as we now know that Dallin Pepper, Justin Medeiros, Ricky Garard and Jeff Adler have declined their contracts for this season.

Then on The Rich Froning Podcast published this morning, Will Moorad, WFP’s Director of Sport, estimated that approximately 30% of athletes declined their Pro Cards this season.

Out of 40 Pro Cards, that would equate to roughly 12 athletes saying no.

As mentioned above, we know of four men and now one woman. That means there are likely another seven women who are going a different direction this year.
