Paige Semenza, Maddie Sturt Won’t Compete at WFP Finals; Cite Injuries

Maddie Sturt and Paige Semenza have withdrawn from the World Fitness Project Finals. Sturt and Semenza, both signed WFP Pro athletes, have cited lingering injuries that will prevent them from competing next month.

Sturt was ranked 17th and Semenza was ranked 27th heading into the WFP Finals.

Both Sturt and Semenza competed at the Rogue Invitational.

Noortje Bleeker and Vivian-Marie Christian have accepted backfill invites. Bleeker and Christian are ranked 33rd and 34th, respectively.

The top 20 in season points after the WFP Finals will receive a Pro Card for the 2026 WFP season.

Kyra Milligan, ranked 35th, is next in line for a backfill invite. And as reported earlier this morning, Emma Tall’s participation in the WFP Finals is in jeopardy following an injury suffered at the Rogue Invitational earlier this month.

Sturt and Semenza’s withdrawal bring the total of signed Pro women who will not be at the WFP Finals to six. Emma McQuaid, Bethany Flores, Haley Adams and Alex Gazan have already announced they will not be competing.
