Rogue Invitational’s New Floor Layout Looks Awesome

The 2024 Rogue Invitational is heading overseas to Aberdeen, Scotland. After spending the past three years at Dell Diamond Stadium, a baseball field, Rogue is moving the competition indoors. Which makes sense considering it’s in northern Scotland in November where the average high temperature ranges between 8-15°C (46-49°F).

P&J Live, a multi-purpose indoor arena, with seating capacity around 10,000 requires a different set up than Rogue had with a baseball field.

This afternoon Rogue debuted the new floor layout.

The first thing I noticed was that the Zeus Rig sits at one end of the competition floor. The floor features 10 lanes with six sections between the start and finish line.

The flooring is half green and half black, but because it’s a computer diagram it’s unclear if the flooring will be rubber or an AstroTurf-like surface.

Additionally, the diagram doesn’t show where the Strongman (and Strongwoman) implements will be. The baseball field gave Rogue the flexibility to set up large implements like the Rogue-A-Coaster in right and left field without interfering with the space for the CrossFit fitness competition.

The 2024 Rogue Invitational is November 8-10 at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Scotland.
