To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the CrossFit Games, athletes will take on 20 (yes, 20!) scored events across four days of competition at the 2026 CrossFit Games.
In an email sent via the CrossFit Games’ newsletter, the email state reads, “More events means more opportunities for athletes to separate themselves from the field. More moments that will define the next chapter of the Sport of Fitness.”
Clicking within the text of the email takes you to the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets to the 2026 CrossFit Games at the SAP Center.

The email blast reveals two new things about this year’s CrossFit Games…
First, there will be 20 scored events. That is the most scored events in the history of the Games. The most events programmed at the CrossFit Games is 15. That happened in 2012, 2016 and 2021.
Now, of course, we don’t know what those events will be or how they will be scored. Could they be like the Skills 1 and Skills 2 events at the 2011 CrossFit Games where multiple tests were combined…like the softball throw for distance?Â

Second, there will be four days of competition. Tickets to the SAP Center are only for three days – Friday through Sunday.
This would mean there is a fourth day, likely on Wednesday or Thursday. And likely at the Ranch.
Dave Castro has mentioned that he liked when he was able to program a day of competition, have a rest day and then follow that up with three more days over the weekend.
Could we see the athletes hit multiple workouts at the Ranch on Wednesday, rest on Thursday and then come back to the SAP Center for the weekend? It’s probably the most likely scenario…
There are still tickets available to the SAP Center. Head over to Ticketmaster to get yours. Three-day and single-day tickets are available.
